All means of generating drawing are valid as long as the conceptual and philosophical meaning
    are understood.

    Drawing from the life model constantly disciplines me to look again, and through looking,
    to see beyond the subject in a new way.

    I have found that this alone is fundamental to my process as an artist. It allows me to cross
    between painting and printmaking, realism and the abstract.
   
    Without drawing I remain as one who cannot see and who remains reliant on the obvious.
