Thank you for visiting my web site and allowing me to show you some of the paintings,
prints and drawings I have produced within the last two years.

My work as an artist has been inspired by personal circumstances as well as the spontaneous,
the unexpected and the unseen. I prefer my work to develop in this way.
In a place where nothing is quite planned or known, where things happen unexpectedly.

My artwork constantly moves to and fro between mixed media. I try to remain unrestricted in this
using painting and drawing to constantly 'push' barriers to the unknown image.

I employ additive and reductive processes; constantly applying and
removing layers  on canvas or plate. In this way I feel I can build on existing marks and allow
a 'layering' to take place.

Layering can then affect the way in which the other perceives and through that,
maybe, personal meaning is attached.....or not.

I hope whatever you find, that most of all you do enjoy looking at the work.
